Hauke Ubl, Chief Technology Officer – "Tech and progress, no gimmicks"
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has come a long way. How does today’s company align with the original vision when you co-founded it?
“When we started, the vision was clear: We didn’t just want to sell technology – we wanted to create solutions that truly make a difference. It was never about quick profits or chasing trends. It was always about making a lasting impact. As CTO, I’m proud to say we’ve achieved exactly that – we’re not just a tech provider; we’re a partner, shaping the digital future together with our clients.”
And how does that benefit our clients in a tangible way?
“Simple: The tech landscape evolves at lightning speed. What works today might need to change tomorrow. I bring fresh perspectives and deep technical expertise to ensure that your projects aren’t just competitive today – but also in the future. We don’t build solutions that become obsolete in a year. We think long-term.”
Julia Lees, COO (Chief Operating Officer) – "Smooth workflows, real efficiency."
Three years of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. How does that feel, and what are you most proud of?
“We’ve been through everything together – from those wild early ideas in a garage… Well, almost! (laughs) …to a fully operational system that really works. What excites us most is that no one here ever rests on their success. We never say, ‘That’s it, we’re done.’ Instead, we constantly ask ourselves, ‘How can we make this even better?’ And you can feel that energy – not just internally, but our clients notice it too. We’re not just another service provider – we’re a partner that makes things happen. I’m still as passionate about my work today as I was in the beginning because we prove, time and again, that we can grow without losing sight of our values. It’s not just about individual talent – it’s about the entire project team working together to ensure everything runs smoothly. And our clients benefit directly from that.”
And how does that philosophy help our clients?
“We make sure everything runs so smoothly that clients barely even notice – except for the fact that they get their solutions on time, and often, we deliver even more than expected. Our clients want efficiency and flexibility, and that’s exactly what we offer, even in a rapidly changing world. My job is to ensure we have the right structures in place to keep delivering – not just today, but at least five years from now. And we do it without burdening clients with unnecessary bureaucracy. Bottom line: We take care of everything behind the scenes so our clients can focus on what really matters – their business. And of course, our team ensures that the results speak for themselves.”
Martin Richter, CFO (Chief Financial Officer) – "Finance with foresight"
What does Whiskey Tango Foxtrot stand for in your eyes, and what excites you about your role as CFO?
“I knew from day one: This isn’t just about numbers. It’s about building a sustainable future with every step we take. Of course, numbers matter – but the core idea that we create solutions that remain relevant for years to come? That’s what convinced me. We’ve never been about quick wins, but about long-term growth. And that’s what motivates me: We know how to grow as a company without losing sight of what truly matters.”
And what does that mean for our clients?
“For our clients, it means they can trust us to think beyond short-term success. When we deliver a solution, it’s built to make sense not just today, but five years from now – financially and operationally. In short: We don’t just build for today; we build for a successful future. And that creates long-term satisfaction – not just quick deals, but sustainable success for everyone involved.”
Mathias Tralau, Chief Customer Officer – "Partnerships that grow… and are fun!"
What does Whiskey Tango Foxtrot mean to you, and what excites you about your role?
“You know, I love it when a simple project turns into a real partnership. My job is to ensure that we’re not just having a great time in the short term, but actually building a long-term success story together. Of course, that takes work, but the fun comes from those moments when you realize: ‘Wow, we really created something incredible here.’ And sharing that feeling with our clients? That’s unbeatable.”
How does that translate into real value for our clients?“
I make sure we’re always heading in the right direction. It’s not just about taking the first step – it’s about constantly finding new ways to ensure our clients’ long-term success. We don’t just focus on today’s needs – we always keep the bigger picture in mind. That means we’re already laying the groundwork today for our clients to be even stronger in the future.”
